I was intrigued by the birds and colors of Hawaii for this collection.
Reverse acrylic on glass is an art form consisting of applying paint to a piece of glass and then viewing the image by turning the glass over and looking through the glass at the image. I paint the image on the back of plexiglas, showing its defined form through the plexiglas to the viewer.
My art is a progression of figurative work that blends concepts with contemporary and whimsical forms and characters, incorporating what I see in nature and what I feel emotionally. I work with acrylic paint, using three dimensional wooden forms, recycled wooden objects, and palm fronds as my canvas.
